Neila Silvia Pereira dos Santos Richards
She graduated in Food Engineering by  Fundação Educacional de Barretos (1989), specialization by Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (1992), Masters in Agricultural Sciences at Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (1996) and Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Universidade de São Paulo (2001). She is currently a professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Has experience in Science and Food Technology, with emphasis on technology and milk derivatives and Technology of Oils and Fats, acting on the following topics: development of functional dairy products, physical-chemical, microbiological and sensory analysis. Is vice-director of the School of Plant and Dairy Course Coordinator of Technology in Food (UFSM).
